Change your voicemail PIN
- Audience: End users
Last updated
Your PIN protects your voicemail and some other phone features. Use a PIN that others can't guess easily. It needs the number of digits your account requires. If it's rejected, ask your admin how many digits your account needs.
Change it from your desk phone
- Step 1:Open your mailbox
Dial *123 and enter your current PIN.
- Step 2:Press 0 for mailbox options
- Step 3:Press 5 to change your PIN
Follow the spoken prompts to enter the new one.
Change it in your user portal
- Step 1:Sign in
Go to proxy.callsprout.com and sign in with your email address and user portal password. On Contact Center Pro, use your company's own callsprout.com address instead, which CallSprout gives you.
- Step 2:Open My Details
Select My Details.
- Step 3:Enter the new PIN
Type it in the PIN field.
- Step 4:Save
Select Save.
What to expect
Your PIN and your user portal password are two different things. The PIN is for the phone. The password is for signing in on the web.
If you use *124 from another phone, you'll enter this same PIN.
If you forget your PIN
Ask your phone system admin to set a new one for you. If you're not sure who your admin is, contact support.
Too many wrong PIN entries can lock your mailbox. See My voicemail is locked.
