Turn on two step verification and manage remembered devices

Two step verification asks for a six digit code from an app on your phone each time you sign in to your user portal. It protects your account if someone learns your password. Two step verification isn't available when single sign-on is on for your company.
Some labels in your portal or apps may look slightly different from this guide.
Before you start
Install an authenticator app on your phone. Any app that makes six digit codes will do. Then sign in to your user portal. If you need help with that, see Sign in to your user portal.
Turn on two step verification
- Step 1:Open My DetailsSelect My Details.
- Step 2:Find the setupGo to the 2-step verification area.
- Step 3:Scan the QR codeScan the QR code with your authenticator app. If you can't scan it, type the setup key shown on the page into the app.
- Step 4:Enter the codeType the six digit code the app shows.
- Step 5:SaveSelect Save.
From now on, every sign in asks for a code. Your admin sets how long the portal waits before it asks again, and how long you can be inactive first. The starting value is set for your account, and your admin can tell you what it is.
If you don't see 2-step verification on My Details, it isn't turned on for your account. Contact support and we'll set it up for you.
Sign out a remembered device
Remembered devices are the computers and phones that are signed in to your portal right now. Remove any you don't recognize, or any you've lost.
