The admin portal is where you manage your company's users, phones and call handling. CallSprout gives you a login when your account is built. If you don't have one yet, contact support.
Some labels in your portal or apps may look slightly different from this guide.
- Step 1:Open the admin portal
Go to proxy.callsprout.com in your browser. On Contact Center Pro, use your company's own callsprout.com address instead, which CallSprout gives you.
- Step 2:Enter your email and password
Use the email address and password CallSprout gave you.
- Step 3:Enter your code, if you use two step verification
Type the current 6 digit code from your authenticator app, then select Verify.
Change your password
Change the password we issued the first time you sign in.
- Step 1:Open your account settings
Select your account name in the header at the top of the portal.
- Step 2:Fill in the password form
Enter Old Password, New Password and Confirm New Password, then save the change.
Your new password needs a strong mix of letters, numbers and symbols. It also can't be the same as your old one. If the portal rejects a password from a password manager, try one that uses only common symbols.
Turn on two step verification
Two step verification adds a code from your phone to every sign in.
- Step 1:Install an authenticator app
Use any authenticator app that makes time based codes, such as Google Authenticator.
- Step 2:Open the setup window
Select your account name, then Set 2-step verification. The 2-Step Verification Setup window opens.
- Step 3:Link the app
Scan the QR code with your authenticator app. If you can't scan it, type the key shown beside it.
- Step 4:Confirm with a code
Enter the 6 digit code the app shows, then select Save. A message confirms it's on.
To turn it off, open the same window and select Reset. You don't need to save afterward.
Don't see this option? Contact support and we'll set it up for you.
Troubleshooting
The code is rejected. The codes depend on your phone's clock. Turn on automatic date and time on your phone, then try the newest code.
The account is locked. Too many wrong passwords or codes lock the account for a short time. Wait a little while and try again. If it stays locked, contact support.
You lost your phone. Contact support and we'll reset two step verification so you can set it up again.
