Find your way around the admin portal

The admin portal has the same layout on every screen, so learning it once helps everywhere. This page covers the parts you'll use constantly. To sign in first, see sign in to the admin portal. Your portal address is proxy.callsprout.com. On Contact Center Pro, use your company's own callsprout.com address instead, which CallSprout gives you.

Some labels in your portal or apps may look slightly different from this guide.

The left menu

The menu down the left side lists every section you can manage. It's split into two tabs, Home and Settings. Select a tab to switch between its sections. Log Out sits at the bottom of the menu.

You may not see every section another admin sees. The menu shows only the sections your admin access allows.

The account menu

Your account name appears in the header at the top right. Select it to open the menu for your own login:

• Change your password.
• Set up two step verification with Set 2-step verification.
• Change the portal language.

Standard and advanced views

Open almost any record and you'll see a short form first. It covers everyday details like a name or email address, and a template takes care of everything else. The technical settings stay hidden until you select Show advanced options.

Stay in the standard view for everyday changes. Advanced options can affect how calls behave, so change them only when a guide or CallSprout support tells you to.

Admin access levels

An account can have several admins, and each one can be limited to certain sections of the menu. If you need to add another admin, or change what someone can see, contact support.

Find what you need

If you can't find a section, start with the left menu tabs, then check whether your plan includes the feature. What each plan and add-on includes lists what comes with each plan.
