You can send a fax from your computer without a fax machine. Communicator has a Fax module where you add a document, fill in who it's for and watch it go out.
This feature needs the Communicator apps add-on on your account. See plans and pricing

Find your faxes
Fax History lists the faxes you sent and the ones you received, and you can switch between the two views. Faxes you sent by email show there too. New faxes trigger a notification. From the list you can search, filter and sort, then view, download, print or resend a fax.
Set your defaults
Open Settings, then Modules, then Fax. You can set a default comment for each Caller ID, and it's added to every fax you send from that number. You can also set the sender details that go on the cover page: phone, email, company and fax number. You can change any of them on a single fax when you send it.
What to expect
Fax is an add-on, so it's available only if your company has it. This page covers the app. Faxing by email works differently. See Send a fax by email and Receive faxes by email. For a fax machine, ask your admin or contact support.
Troubleshooting
- A fax shows as failed. Check the number and send it again from Fax History. If it keeps failing, contact support.
