Your user portal lists your calls with the time, the numbers and how long each one lasted. You can search, print, email or save the list as a spreadsheet, and play recorded calls.

Some labels in your portal or apps may look slightly different from this guide.

Find a call

  1. Step 1:
    Open your call history
Sign in to your user portal and select CDR. That's the portal's name for your call history.
  2. Step 2:
    Set your filters
Choose a Date Range. To narrow the list, fill in From or To with a number or extension, or pick a Status: All, Answered, Not Answered, Busy or Error.
  3. Step 3:
    Search
    Select the search icon.

The three dot menu adds a Show recorded calls only filter. The table can also show a call quality score, which your admin may hide.

Play a recorded call

Turn on Show recorded calls only, tick the call, then select Listen to play it in your browser. You can also use the Play Recording column on that row to play or download it.

On a desk phone, dial *170 and then a number from 1 to 9 to hear one of your last nine recorded calls. To start recording a call yourself, see Record a call on demand, and pause recording.

You only see a recording if recording is turned on for your extension. CallSprout keeps recordings for 30 days, and call history for 1 year. Keeping recordings longer is a separate add-on, so ask your admin or contact support if you need that.

Recording laws vary by state. Your company is responsible for any notice or consent they require.

Work with several calls

Tick the box beside each call, or the box in the header to select them all. Then use the toolbar:

  • Call dials the number through a phone or app connected to your extension.
  • Print and E-mail send the call details to a printer or your inbox.
  • Delete Recording removes the recording, if deleting recordings is turned on for you.
  • CSV Download saves the list as a spreadsheet.

Download your call history

Search first if you only want some calls, then select CSV Download. The file holds only the calls that match. Without a search, the portal asks you to confirm and then exports all your calls.
