In this episode of Sitting in a Garage with Eric, Eric Bucher interviewed Troy McLellan, President & CEO of Greater Boca Raton Chamber of Commerce. Troy talked about the chamber, how they receive funding and all of the incredible things they do for our community that most people don't know about. He shared details about their education foundation Golden Bell, which has given $1.3 million in funding over the past 25 years. He also talked about their YEA Boca Chamber program which helps young entrepreneurs like Rebecca Zerbo, Founder of Positive Pocket www.positivepocket.org and Rachel Zietz, Founder of Gladiator Lacrosse.

The election is coming up next week so of course they talked politics! Troy shared information about the chamber's political action committee and how important it is for the community to get involved in local elections. The Boca Chamber is proud to announce they are endorsing Mayor Susan Haynie Susan Haynie for Mayor, Scott Singer, and Andy Thomson in the upcoming election. Don't forget to go out and vote on Tuesday, March 14th!
